Supermodulo Bellani for Breton - Machine to shape and polish straight edges

Do you need a machine to shape and polish straight edges with a round regular shape of natural and compound stone pieces?
Supermodulo is a machine to shape and polish straight edges with a round regular shape of natural and compound stone pieces.

Supermodulo performs the continuous shaping and polishing of profiles either flat and linear or with a regular round shape (such as bullnose, half bullnose and quarter bullnose edges, etc.), shaping of special profiles, calibration, execution of bilateral bevelled edges, drip grooves, wings and slots on horizontally placed, natural and engineered stone workpieces.
A hydraulic power unit actuates the slat conveyor, the 8 polishing spindles (one of which can be equipped with a diamond wheel) and the unit that makes them oscillate so that their service life is longer and faultless even though they work under a jet of water.

Besides holding 8 edge polishing spindles, "
Supermodulo" is equipped with:
- 1 calibrating/grinding spindle to be fitted with the diamond tool suitable to execute one of the following operations (one operation excludes the others):
  a) thickness calibration on the lower stripe
  b) execution of slots on the edge, mounting a disk on the calibrating tool
  c) edge profiling with a diamond wheel

- 2 grinding spindles to prepare the edge before it is shaped with the oscillating spindles
- 1 spindle for the drip groove execution
- 4 chamfering spindles (2 upper and 2 lower spindles)
- 1 spindle for the wing execution.

Breton CNC bridge saw Smart-Cut 550 OPTIMA - the BEST cutting line!

Hello everyone,
Perhaps you already know Breton Smart-Cut S/NC 550 OPTIMA bridge saw.
First of all, enjoy this short video where you will see the impressive performance of this bridge saw, from slab loading to dimensioned piece unloading.

Sequence:
1. The slab is loaded by means of an automatic loader with vacuum cups

2 - The material defects are highlighted with chalk markings
3 -
The camera takes a picture of the slab that is immediately displayed on the operator’s control panel

4 - The area of the slab where pieces must be cut is optimized by the software.

5 -The bridge saw starts the cutting cycle.

6 - Pieces are moved; up to 400 kg can be lifted and shifted.
7 - Routings are cut on the material back-face for the application of reinforcing rods (“rodding”).

8 - The machine performs the final cuts.

9 - At this point, the dimensioned pieces leave the machine and are ready to be unloaded.

CORA, a sculpture by Raffaello Galiotto produced with the SHAPEMILL of KIENESBERGER STEINMETZMEISTER

Hello everyone,
Besides the amazing column created by ODONE ANGELO company, another work of art designed by Mr. Raffaello Galiotto aroused curiosity at the “Design & Technology” exhibition that was hosted by MARMOMACC: “CORA”, a sculpture produced with the SHAPEMILL machining centre belonging to KIENESBERGER STEINMETZMEISTER.

In CORA stone resembles an organic material rich in cavities and curved and twisted tunnels therefore the technique to produce it came up against a particular difficulty: curved drilling.

The problem was solved by using a milling cutter controlled by the C axis and a ball-head mill with a thin shaft.
The drilling path was checked carefully to avoid collisions between the thin shaft of the tool and the wall.

In this manner, they executed a first 90 degree curved cavity that, joined to a second one, widened the hole up to 180 degrees

It took about 60 hours to create "CORA".

A beautiful piece, do you agree?
Congratulations to Mr. Galiotto for his project, to KIENESBERGER STEINMETZMEISTER for the complex execution and to Breton Shapemill, the machining centre with 5 axis capability that never stops amazing me
I hope you’ll like it too.

How to create a masterpiece with SHAPEMILL

Hello everyone,
For sure, who visited MARMOMACC in Verona made a quick stop in the Hall 1 to see the “Stone Design & Technology” exhibition that was organized by Veronafiere and developed by Mr. Raffaello Galiotto
The goal of this event was to debate some specific aspects of the processing techniques (bridge saw with 5 axis capability, tool, diamond disk, lathe, robot, waterjet, etc.) through the exhibition of 8 major and 6 micro works of art, original and experimental, specially planned by the designer and developer Mr. Raffaello Galiotto for Italian leading companies in the stone field.

One of these works of art is the column realized by Messrs. ODONE ANGELO using a SHAPEMILL.

Here under you can see the film sequence showing the machining phases of the column that was entirely processed USING THE DISK ONLY!

It is indeed a free interpretation of the traditional fluted column created using a diamond disk and milling lathe.

The disk sinks into marble following paths which are not parallel with respect to the cutting axis.

The surface is therefore modelled and brushed thus generating complex and deep shapes featuring a high finish degree.

It took about 90 hours to produce the column and 10 hours to make the base.

What else can I say? When I saw it, I stood speechless: a column with such an impressive shape made of marble!

Congratulations to Mr. Raffaello Galiotto for his project, to ODONE ANGELO for the complex execution and to Breton SHAPEMILL, the machining centre with 5 axis capability that never stops amazing me
I hope you’ll like it too.
Should you be interested in SHAPEMILL, write to mail@breton.it for INFO and prices: we’ll get back to you promptly.
Well, that’s all for today, thanks for your attention.
