Breton Contourfive turns a Corinthian column

Good morning,
Today I’d like to show you a small Corinthian column realized with our machining centre Breton Contourfive with 5 axes, equipped with a lathe.

As you can see, most of the work has been carried out by the disk while the diamond tool executed grooves and inlays.

When equipped with the lathe, Contourfive becomes a real production centre, ideal for architectural elements, funerary art and machining operations that require a deep pocketing, all this taking up a minimal amount of space as you can see here under:

Do you agree?
Write to mail@breton.it for further info or quotations, we’ll get back to you promptly.
Thank you for the attention and best regards.

Hello,
Yesterday I received a nice sequence of photos showing our ContourFive NC 700 - a Breton CNC machining centre with 5 interpolated axis for marble, granite and stone - while making the head of Michelangelo’s David.
The machining operation starts with the rough-machining performed by the disc

and continues with the tool finishing.

Here is the finished piece.

Beautiful, isn’t it?
Please consider that the bench of ContourFive NC 700 allows to process a block sizing up to 3.500x1.970mm in width.
