CONTOURBRETON NC 300, a vast range able to meet all production requirements

Hello everybody,
maybe someone of you is now making a granite or engineered stone kitchen countertop or a marble vanity top and is using an obsolete machine.
Well, today I’ll show you the features of the 3 models of our numerical control contouring machine for kitchen countertops CONTOURBRETON NC300.

In all CONTOURBRETON NC300 models the vertical spindle stroke is 11.8" (300mm). The distance between spindle nose and worktable is 20.5" (520mm), allowing also plunge milling operations on blocks.

CONTOURBRETON NC300 K19 has effective “X” axis working travel of 126" (3,200mm) and “Y” axis travel of 76.8" (1,950mm).

CONTOURBRETON NC300 K26 has effective “X” axis working travel of 149.6" (3,800mm) and “Y” axis travel of 90.5" (2,300mm).

CONTOURBRETON NC300 K40 ha has effective “X” axis working travel of 149.6" (3,800mm) and “Y” axis travel of 157.5" (4,000mm).

Our Contourbreton machines are now equipped with a new electrospindle entirely designed and manufactured in our Italian facility.
Here you can see the Contourbreton NC300 K26 while is realizing a kitchen top.

The large and easily accessible work bench is made of aluminium slats.
Is availble a continuous worktop made of Metalquartz®, a special patented quartz-based composite material with a polymeric matrix, specially engineered to ensure the same high rigidity and expansion coefficient of steel (ON REQUEST).

An alternative way to reduce tooling time is Breton ROBOCUP SYSTEM – Patented (for models K26 and K40 only).

Robocup introduces a revolutionary, automated way of arranging the vacuum cups on the work bench.

According to the work schedule and type of workpieces to be produced, the spindle lifts automatically the double-acting vacuum cups from the special magazine and alignes them with the selflocking valves fixed to the work bench.
The self-locking device firmly locks the vacuum cups on the bench and the workpieces to the vacuum cups.

Once the profiling operations are over, the self-locking device releases the workpieces from the vacuum cups and the vacuum cups from the bench, the spindle lifts automatically the vacuum cups and places them in the magazine and a special pressure washing system washes the work bench before beginning a new vacuum cup arrangement cycle.

If you need more information and technical data on Contourbreton, you will find them here.

Remember also that Breton’s contouring machines are ideal for operations such as engravings and writings.

For technical and commercial information for Contourbreton NC300 CNC stone router, write to mail@breton.it.
We’ll get back to you promptly.
Thank you for the attention and best regards.

Breton & BretonUSA at STONEXPO MARMOMACC AMERICAS

At the Stonexpo 2014, Breton USA had a GREAT show, with 100’s of visitors to our stand from 27 US States, 5 Canadian provinces, and 5 foreign countries, bringing projects in all market segments from Fabshop to Traditional (Natural Stone) to compound stone technology.

At the show we refocused our efforts to show our customer our increased North American commitment in manpower, facilities, and future investment.
Tom Camp - Arizona and New Mexico agent and Magdalena Picardi - BretonUSA General Manager

John Fallon - Nord East – New England salesman with G. Filippetto - BretonUSA Vice president, Gerry van Der Bas - BretonUSA National Sales and Piero Zamperin - Breton
We hope the message taken will be that we are here with the resources to work with companies of all shapes and sizes and we are focused on their goals.
We proudly displayed our New NC300 K40 Robocup which is currently being installed at a Toronto Metro Area Client and this machine was a real hit with our Fabricator friends.

We closed one project at the show and expect to have quite a few more as a result.

Robert Stout - Nord West agent with Gerry van Der Bas - National Sales
Clearly, there is a movement in our industry toward high quality, high reliability equipment, and while I’m certainly biased towards Breton, I truly think with all of our recent investment and acquisition. We are in a great position to be the best machinery partner for the stone industry.

We were so happy to see that people are looking, interested, and most importantly investing in their business again in North America, and we’ll be proud to work with those that choose to be our partner going forward.

So, speaking on behalf of all the members of the Breton USA North American Sales Team, I say the show is a big success, and we are resolved in the next weeks to capitalize on every opportunity we can.

- Parametric program to machine pockets with three-dimensional interpolation. This program is mainly used for the machining of kitchen tops with inclined surface.

- BretonCam PLUS 2.75 Stone CAD/CAM software
It is a powerful, user-friendly CAD/CAM software, to be installed on a PC outside the machine. The software is based on the icon programming principle and uses parametric technological macros for two-dimensional figures and to control three-dimensional surfaces. It makes it possible to draw numberless pieces with complex and sophisticated shapes through the CAD module and then prepare the work programs in a computer-aided way, processing the sequences of tools used in the various machining through the CAM module. This software simplifies the utilization of series of tools for polishing a profile. It enables to modify both the geometry of the pieces drawn and the sequence of tools used. It also allows to program dishing out machining on billets.

- Laser sensor to control the tool profile, diameter and length
with software for the NC automatic control and data storage
