How Breton SHAPEMILL makes a column out of a block

Breton Shapemill is used by "Margraf Industria Marmi Vicentini", our customer from Chiampo (Vicenza), to produce quite complex and large sized components such as these columns made of "Peach Flower" marble.
The first operation is the execution of the centering holes for turning.
Then the block is squared

Turning begins

Here are the finished pieces
Breton Shapemill machining centre with 5 interpolated axes turns pieces with a maximum diameter of 1.600mm (on Shapemill 1600) and features a useful turning length equal to 3.200mm
It is possible to use saw blades with a maximum diameter of 1.000mm
The maximum dimensions of the stone block are 3.000x4.500x1.500mm in height (on Shapemill 1600).

That said, all you need to do now is ask for an estimate of this really SPECIAL machine!
